A bit about Maggie Weldon’s Lace Pottery

If you love pottery and crocheted lace, you will fall in love with Lace Pottery.
Best known for her extraordinary crochet designs and the brand Maggie’s Crochet, Maggie Weldon has merged her love of crochet with her new found passion in pottery and produced Lace Pottery.

Each piece of pottery is handmade in her Kernersville, NC studio using fine porcelain clay and crocheted doilies. The doilies are pressed into the clay and removed before being fired in a kiln. All pieces are food-safe and can serve either as functional dining pieces or ornamental treasures.

Due to the distinctive craft of hand building, each piece is one-of-a-kind and limited edition. Each piece is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
